Jewellery objects are the focus of my work and have been my chosen form of artistic expression for almost 20 years now. I exclusively create unique pieces: objects that adorn and carry a message, the result of an engagement with my environment and what matters to me. Invariably, it is also a journey to oneself…

My works are shaped by a process of searching and finding – materials, techniques, designs – often involving a careful, deliberate process of creation. Their wearability and relation to the body are always important to me, with (wo)man being the measure of all things. The resulting jewellery objects are powerful, often large, at times toeing the line to sculpture in their prominent three-dimensionality. They are charismatic works for wearers ready to establish their own connection with them.
